ECS Resource Group is seeking a Presales Consultant - Cyber Security to join their team in a remote capacity. This permanent position is ideal for a cyber security professional with strong technical insight and a passion for designing solutions that address customer security challenges. The role provides a clear pathway to becoming a Presales Solution Architect, offering growth opportunities as you build expertise and demonstrate capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and scope suitable cyber security solutions.

• Prepare proposals, technical designs, and solution documentation for bids and tenders.

• Support solution architects with presentations and client-facing materials.

• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop multi-discipline solutions.

• Produce accurate pricing and bills of materials for submissions.

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain technical certifications.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and health & safety policies.

Requirements:

• Experience in the UK IT services market with understanding of customer needs.

• Knowledge of industry best practices and solution design in cyber security.

• Experience contributing to proposals or technical bid responses.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical solutions clearly.

• Analytical thinking, adaptability, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Collaborative and team-focused mindset.

• Relevant technical qualifications.

• MDR, EDR, XDR, NDR

• NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, SASE, SSE, NAC

• PAM, MFA, SSO, DLP, SIEM, SOAR

• Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Pen Testing, Red Teaming

• Cloud security solutions (CASB, CNAPP, VM, DAST)

• Security awareness training, vCISO/vSM services, compliance frameworks (PCI, ISO, NIST, Cyber Essentials)
