Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Principal/Senior Engineer to join our Buildings Infrastructure team, this role could be based in either our Ipswich, Cambridge or Solent offices.

What does the role involve?
 

• Design and detailing of civil engineering schemes, flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, calculations, detailing, modelling, inspections, surveys and reports.
• Management and delivery of projects within cost, time, profitability and quality requirements.
• Obtaining third party approvals, liaising with clients, other professionals and the public.
• Supervising and training employees with less experience, skills or qualifications.
   

You will work on a wide variety of types of projects in all major sectors and will have the ability to gain a wide range of experience to stretch your skills and develop your career.

To Be Successful In This Role You’ll Possess

You will have excellent design skills and be able to competently undertake computer based analysis and have knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health and Safety. You will also have a degree in Engineering and will be either chartered of near chartered with the Institutions of Civil Engineers or have a similar level of experience.
