After a major Series A funding round in 2024, the company is rapidly expanding and seeking a Principal Front-End Engineer to help shape the future of AI-powered legal experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and build user-focused, fast, and beautiful applications and experiences.

  • Solve complex technical problems and make crucial decisions.

  • Establish and enforce front-end best practices across multiple products.

  • Drive the quality and consistency of UI/UX across various platforms.

  • Work in a fast-paced, product-driven, cross-functional team.

  • Mentor engineers and influence the engineering culture and hiring process.

Ideal Candidate:

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have deep experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind, and TypeScript.

  • Love building consumer products from scratch.

  • Have a proven track record of leading projects in high-growth environments.

  • Care about clean design, usability, and performance.

  • Are motivated by impact and reshaping the legal system.

Process:

  • Stage 1: Meeting with the Senior Talent Partner to discuss your experience and motivations.

  • Stage 2: Meeting with the VP of Engineering (VPE) or COO for situational questions, experience discussion, and candidate questions.

  • Stage 3: Technical Challenge – Live session focused on decision-based logic and Q&A with VPE or a senior team member.

  • Stage 4: Meeting with the C-Suite.

Extras:

  • Strong Computer Science Degree or STEM Degree (1st Class or a Master’s/PhD).

  • Experience working in a significant scale-up, particularly those that have raised Series A funding over £10 million.

  • Familiarity with E2E (End-to-End) development and the ability to take ownership of delivery and strategy.
