Description:
The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, London’s only acute private hospital dedicated entirely to the care of women and children, is seeking experienced Paediatric doctors to join its PICU Bank. This role provides flexible shifts, professional development, and the chance to work alongside leading consultants in world-class facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to paediatric patients in the PICU.
Work collaboratively with a specialist care team to manage complex cases.
Gain experience in advanced therapies, treatments, and specialist units.
Choose shifts flexibly from a 24/7 rota (weekdays or weeknights).
Commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
Qualifications:
GMC registration and UK license to practice.
Speciality-trained in Paediatrics with PICU experience (minimum 5–6 years).
Airway training and experience in a cardiac surgical unit preferred.
Commitment to a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
Desired Characteristics:
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Flexible and adaptable to different wards, clinics, and specialist units.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Additional Requirements:
Bank membership with flexible scheduling.
