Description:
Qlik, a Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Leader for 14 years, is looking for a Privacy Specialist to join its global privacy team, reporting to the Data Protection Officer. This role involves working on cutting-edge privacy, information security, and AI legal issues, crucial for Qlik’s compliance and Go-To-Market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Privacy Program Management: Maintain privacy program assets, including ROPA, notices, and policies.
- Customer & Supplier Engagement:
- Negotiate customer and supplier Data Protection Agreements (DPAs).
- Conduct privacy-impact assessments and advise on data access and retention.
- Utilize the OneTrust 3rd Party Risk platform for supplier privacy reviews.
- Business Partnering:
- Advise teams, particularly Marketing, on web and AdTech privacy (cookies, marketing consents).
- Deliver practical privacy advice and training across business functions.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Monitor global privacy, information security (NIS 2), and AI laws (EU AI Act), conducting gap analyses and implementing changes.
- Identify privacy risk areas and lead mitigation projects.
- Assist with transfer impact assessments and other recurring privacy tasks.
- Regulatory & Legal Support:
- Liaise with Information Security, regulators, and external counsel.
- Conduct privacy audits and follow up on compliance improvements.
- Support data breach procedures and data subject access requests.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Law degree (or equivalent legal courses).
- 12+ months experience in privacy/data protection.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and exposure to data protection agreements.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to privacy and risk management.
- Interest in AI and information security laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OneTrust 3rd Party Risk platform.
- Knowledge of international privacy laws and in-house tech company experience.
- Interest in SaaS and AI technology.
- Foreign language skills and experience supervising external counsel.
Training & Development:
