Private Client Solicitor

Description:

Venn Group is recruiting for an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor to join a well-regarded law firm in Surrey on a three-month assignment starting 22nd September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to handle a steady and manageable caseload in a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA’s), ensuring efficient estate administration and client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, Trusts, and LPAs.

• Administer estates, obtain Grants of Probate, and oversee the distribution of estate accounts.

• Provide legal expertise while maintaining a client-focused approach.

• Collaborate with an established Private Client team and utilize secretarial support provided.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 22nd September 2025

• Duration: 3 months

• Caseload: Standard Private Client work (Wills and Probate)

• Parking: On-site and local parking available

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Solicitor with proven experience in Private Client law.

• Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Administration.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage a steady caseload efficiently within a fixed-term contract.
