We are working with a leading global law firm with a significant international footprint, advising clients across key financial centres worldwide. This firm operates at the top end of the market and is recognised for its strength in private capital and asset management.

They are seeking a talented Private Equity Funds Lawyer with 4+ PQE to join their London team. The role offers exposure to high-quality work across a broad range of fund formation matters, working with sponsors ranging from emerging managers through to large institutional platforms.

The team advises across private equity, venture capital, credit, and real assets, with additional exposure to secondaries and related transactional matters.

Typical duties for the role will include:

• Advising fund sponsors on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds.
• Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, including LPAs and ancillary agreements.
• Working closely with clients to design fund structures and negotiate terms with investors.
• Supporting on regulatory and ongoing advisory matters across the fund lifecycle.
• Collaborating with transactional teams, particularly in relation to private equity sponsor activity.
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

The successful candidate will have:

• 4+ years PQE gained within a top-tier, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or leading international/US firm.
• Strong experience in private equity funds and fund formation.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a high-performing team.
