Procurement Category Manager

Description:

We're looking for an established public procurement professional to join us, and help us deliver on our strategy across a range of our critical categories of spend.

You'll be a key player in advancing the Procurement team, delivering a 'Best in Class' service for our stakeholders. As our procurement expert you'll innovate, shape and execute strategies that deliver genuine business value.

Typical day as a Procurement Category Manager
 

• Concentrate on minimising and optimising external expenditure whilst ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines.
• Develop, implement and lead on category strategies and tender processes for high value, complex spend categories.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with our major suppliers, key stakeholders, and internal departments, driving performance and improvements. You deliver great operational performance and foster collaboration throughout.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for Home Group’s customers, through the provision of products and services established through Procurement contracts.
