Description:
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team in Leavesden.
What you'll do:
- Increase Skanska profitability by best value procurement.
- Minimise the cost of subcontracts, materials and plant.
- Participate in the implementation of strategic procedural and practical changes to increase productivity and performance.
- Comply with Skanska procedures and policy on procurement including participation in audits (external/internal)
- Preparation of enquiry documents and tender review sheets. Obtaining quotations for subcontract packages, materials, and plant as required to to meet tender return dates.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience of procurement management on significant contracts
- Working knowledge of contract law
- Member of a professional institution
- Degree level qualification in a relevant subject
- CIPS or working towards
