Description:
As FundOnion’s first in-house Product Designer, you will shape every pixel and interaction on their new platform, working closely with engineers, data scientists, finance brokers, and the CEO. You will own the end-to-end design process from research and discovery to polished UI for web and mobile. Your work will translate complex financial data into intuitive, elegant user experiences. Responsibilities include running lean user research, creating visualizations and workflows, establishing and evolving a design system in Figma, collaborating on implementation, and iterating designs rapidly based on feedback and analytics. You will champion a user-centric and data-driven design culture within the company.
Approximately 1 to 4 years of professional product or UX/UI design experience
At least one shipped web, tech, FinTech, or SaaS product in portfolio
Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, information architecture, and basic front-end concepts
Clear communication skills, able to defend design decisions and collaborate cross-functionally
Curiosity about finance/FinTech and passion for making financial matters clearer for entrepreneurs
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Experience with data visualization, design tokens, or building design systems from scratch
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility, B2B onboarding flows, or credit-risk tools
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/React
Experience with Webflow
