Product Development Manager

Description:

We are partnering exclusively with established and rapidly growing beauty and cosmetics business expanding its gifting and licensing ranges, and we're looking for a Product Manager to help bring the next generation of products to market.

Supplying major UK supermarkets, beauty retailers, discounters and pharmacy chains, as well as customers across Europe, the business combines creative product development with a strong commercial focus.

With ambitious growth plans, this is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative product team where you'll have real ownership of your ranges, work closely with multiple departments and see your products progress from initial concept to retail launch.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Product Operations, you'll play a key role in developing consumer-led gifting ranges across beauty, cosmetics and toiletries.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Quality, you'll oversee the product development process from initial concept through to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run the full product lifecycle, from range architecture and ideation through design to launch
• Research consumer needs and trends, and make sure ranges fit customer and commercial goals
• Build and manage project timelines and internal trackers
• Prepare launch plans and work with Marketing on promotions
• Gather customer and stakeholder feedback, monitor post-launch performance and recommend improvements

About You

• 3+ years in product development (preferred)
• Confident in Excel for specs and trackers
• Disciplined, and used to working to strict timelines against a critical path
• Experience in market analysis and product lifecycle management
• Meticulous, organised, and comfortable juggling several projects at pace
• A clear communicator who asks questions and builds relationships across teams
