Product Engagement Specialist

Description:

Primark is seeking a Technology Project Manager to manage WMS and warehouse automation projects. The role involves planning, controlling, and delivering technology projects across multiple workstreams, ensuring projects meet agreed business goals within quality, cost, and time objectives. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, change managers, and senior business users, and will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through to sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, control, and manage overall delivery of technology projects

• Manage project resources, budgets, timelines, and risks

• Ensure effective change control to meet project outcomes within budget

• Maintain project health in Primark’s Project Portfolio Management (Planview) tool

• Communicate with stakeholders, teams, and executives

• Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously

• Ensure adherence to PMO requirements, IT operating model, and QA methodology

• Prepare warehouse sites for opening or technological change initiatives

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level

• 5+ years of project management experience

• Experience with supply chain technology platforms and cloud-based systems

• Strong knowledge of IT architecture, operational service, and support organizations

• Proficient in basic business analysis

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong experience dealing with senior business users

• Commercial awareness and understanding of project contributions to business cases

• Knowledge of Tech investment evaluation, cost/benefit analysis, and resource estimation
