Product Line Manager

Description:

ABB, a global leader in energy, automation, and digital technology solutions, is seeking a Product Line Manager for its Emergency Lighting (EML) segment across EMEA, based in Morley, England. This is a full-time, hybrid role that empowers professionals to shape the future of smart, safe, and sustainable building solutions.

As a key member of the Portfolio Management team, you will lead the EML product strategy across the EMEA region. This includes simplifying and modernizing the portfolio, aligning global initiatives with local compliance requirements, and driving performance improvements. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless delivery and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the EML strategy across EMEA

• Drive simplification of the product portfolio; phase out outdated offerings and boost performance

• Align global strategies with regional market needs and regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain to execute strategic initiatives

• Monitor performance, optimize pricing, and identify growth opportunities

• Lead and energize diverse, cross-functional teams

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in product management, preferably in lighting, electrical, or smart building technologies

• Strong knowledge of Emergency Lighting systems and compliance standards

• Proven track record of handling complex portfolios and team leadership

• Strategic mindset with a fast-paced, results-driven approach

• Experience in transformation or turnaround environments is a plus

• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous

• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, can-do attitude
