AXA UK is seeking a Product Owner to lead the AXA Blueprint Project, a major initiative transforming the company’s commercial operating model. This ambitious programme is focused on strategic enhancements across people, processes, and technology—driving measurable improvements in Gross Written Premium (GWP), loss ratio, and expense ratio.

As a key member of the transformation team, the Product Owner will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AXA’s commercial insurance division. You will work closely with project managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to define priorities, manage backlogs, and ensure that each product release delivers tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the voice of the business, ensuring alignment between product delivery and AXA’s strategic goals.

• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, validating proposed solutions for optimal value delivery.

• Prioritise and manage the release backlog, collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.

• Maintain a well-organised backlog to facilitate smooth delivery cycles and incremental planning.

• Represent business interests during stakeholder meetings, demos, and feedback sessions.

• Communicate the release vision and roadmap clearly to all involved parties.

• Collaborate across multiple teams and departments to enhance performance and consistency.

• Make informed, rapid decisions to keep the project on track and ensure delivery continuity.

• Support benefits realisation by tracking change impacts and measuring outcomes.

• Coach and mentor other product owners across various business disciplines to promote collaboration and shared success.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in commercial insurance, with a focus on underwriting.

• Ability to thrive in an agile or change-driven environment.

• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.

• Track record of managing complex projects and facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams.

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the confidence to represent key business interests.

• Experience in benefits realisation and delivery of measurable outcomes.

• Ability to coach, manage, and guide other product owners or cross-functional colleagues.

Eligibility:

• Must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Up to £80,000 annually (≈ £6,667 per month), depending on experience.
