Areti Group has exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing Fintech Start UP which has just received Series A Funding and is looking to take on up to 70 new hires in Product and Software Engineering in the next 6 months.
We are now looking for x2 Product Owners who want the challenge of joining a rapid scale-up.
You will need to have experience in a Fintech environment and knowledge of working with Pensions and ISA.
You must have worked closely with Software Engineering teams and have solid understanding of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for driving the development of new products and features, improving existing products, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business development to deliver products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategy, roadmap, and vision for the fintech start-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new product opportunities and features.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and use cases that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and make data-driven decisions.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Communicate product updates and changes to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product owner experience in fintech or SAAS business.
- Strong understanding of financial services, Pensions, including banking, payments, and investments.
- Have a strong knowledge of Software Engineering principles and practices, such as design patterns, code organization, and testing strategies
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an Agile development environment
- Proven track record of delivering successful products that meet business objectives and customer needs.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
