The selected candidate will hold 24-hour operational responsibility for the assigned department, overseeing patient care delivery, quality improvement, and administrative leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and administrative oversight of a hospital department, ensuring continuous improvement in patient care standards and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate directly with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives and manage day-to-day activities.

• Drive clinical excellence and regulatory compliance across all operational units.

• Manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to resource allocation guidelines.

• Lead and support hospital-wide quality improvement programs and disaster preparedness planning.

• Promote professional development among staff through mentorship, training, and career planning initiatives.

• Serve as a key liaison for interdepartmental coordination and ensure consistent, high-quality patient care across all services.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related specialty.

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Allied Health field is required.

• A Doctorate Degree is highly preferred.

• Advanced certifications and leadership training in relevant specialties are essential.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 11 years of post-registration clinical experience.

• Minimum 5 years of senior or upper management experience in a general hospital with 350+ bed capacity.

• Deep expertise and clinical knowledge in the assigned specialty area.
