Description:

Corona Energy, a leading independent UK energy supplier with over 20 years of experience, is looking to hire a PMO Analyst / Project Coordinator to join its Project Delivery team based in Watford. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of business transformation, ensuring robust governance and effective coordination of multiple projects aligned with strategic business goals.

You will be a pivotal player responsible for supporting the PMO Lead by driving best practices, managing project governance, and providing hands-on coordination support across the project portfolio. The role blends high-level oversight with detailed project execution support, helping to deliver projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

PMO Support & Governance

  • Support PMO Lead with governance, reporting, and compliance.

  • Maintain project management frameworks, templates, and compliance processes.

  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor project performance, risks, and resources.

  • Track dependencies, risks, change controls, and manage documentation repositories.

  • Support audits, financial analysis, and compliance monitoring.

  • Optimize use of PM tools like MS Project, Jira, Power BI.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources for multiple projects.

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and governance forums; produce minutes and action logs.

  • Act as central contact point for project queries and stakeholder engagement.

  • Monitor progress, escalate risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to manage project interdependencies.

  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and coordination.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven PMO Analyst or Project Coordinator experience in IT or business change.

  • Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and reporting.

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with ability to create reports, dashboards, and insights.

  • Proficient with MS Project, Jira, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint.

  • Ability to influence and drive governance adherence.

Desirable:

  • Degree in Business, Project Management or related field.

  • Experience in Energy or Utilities sector.

  • Professional qualifications like PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI, or P3O.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, change, and release management.
