Description:

Macmillan Right by You involves stakeholders from across the Wessex Region, in particular: Wessex Cancer Alliance, Macmillan Cancer Support, Dorset County Hospital, University Hospital Southampton and general practices across Southampton City and West Dorset. The project leadership and management function is hosted by University Hospital Southampton, however this is a regional transformation role with an expectation to support all project sites and to support the future vision for Wessex-wide adoption of this approach.

What you will do

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for management and oversight of the Macmillan Right by You project, supporting two integrated cancer nursing teams (one link to University Hospital Southampton and one linked to Dorset County Hospital). You will be responsible for project delivery and will be highly involved in service reporting, evaluation activities and commissioning plans to evidence the impact of this model of working.
