Description:
The Programme Support Officer is responsible for supporting delivery of the Aspiring Professionals Programme for both young people and employer volunteers through a variety of administrative tasks. The role is predominantly home or office based but there will be an opportunity for face-to-face activity with students. Your role will also involve some tasks related to event management and delivery, as well as interaction with supporters and students.
Person Specification:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong administration skills
· Confidence with using IT and particularly Excel
· Confidence preparing and delivering presentations
· Excellent attention to detail when undertaking tasks
· Ability to work as part of a small team
· Hard-working and efficient
· Self-starter with ability to prioritise and manage varied tasks
· Ability to adapt to new situations that may arise and problem solve effectively
· Committed to the aims of the charity
