Project Coordinator

Description:

Make It Happen is seeking a dynamic and driven Part time Outreach & Fundraising Coordinator to lead on community engagement and help secure vital funding for our work with families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role combines outreach, partnership-building, and fundraising strategy to strengthen the impact and sustainability of our Parent Carer Forum.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

• Promote our services and activities to families, professionals, and community partners
• Organise and attend events, forums, and meetings to build relationships and raise awareness
• Support families and professionals with information and guidance around SEND services
• Gather and report feedback from families to inform service development and reports
• Identify new opportunities to expand engagement and involvement in our work
• Lead on fundraising activities including grant applications and monitoring forms

🎯 About You:

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Experienced in community outreach, with a passion for inclusion and empowerment
• Knowledgeable about the challenges facing SEND families
• Confident in writing funding bids and managing fundraising campaigns
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset
