Project Engineer

 

Description:

  • The Project Planner will manage, plan, monitor, and report on project programmes for the MEP services of the Operations Service Centre (OSC) at Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on programming, progress tracking, coordination of planning activities, risk mitigation, and schedule optimisation across one of the UK's most complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain live project programmes and track progress against milestones

  • Coordinate MEP planning activities across site operations

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

  • Review and update schedules based on progress and new information

  • Analyse performance data to identify risks and delays

  • Recommend mitigation strategies and support change management processes

  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting for project decisions

Qualifications:

  • HNC or Degree in MEP or engineering-related discipline (preferred)

  • Skilled user of P6, Asta Powerproject, and ideally 4D planning tools

  • Proven expertise in MEP planning and scheduling

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication abilities
