Description:

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics, a globally recognized logistics leader with over 75,000 employees across 95+ countries, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join its expanding team. This full-time, on-site role is based either in Northampton or Mercia Park, with flexibility depending on the candidate's location.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a background in third-party logistics (3PL), who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to leading strategic change and client implementation projects. The successful applicant will be part of a collaborative team that manages end-to-end project lifecycles across various DSV sites in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of logistics-related projects such as new client implementations, site setups, relocations, closures, and strategic initiatives.

  • Facilitate internal and client-facing project meetings.

  • Apply DSV's project methodology to ensure consistent, structured project execution.

  • Matrix-manage cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.

  • Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

  • Deliver projects within defined budget and timeline constraints.

  • Conduct on-site visits as needed to support project delivery across UK and Ireland.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management within the 3PL or logistics industry.

  • Proven success in delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Operational knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Project and Visio.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is desirable (Foundation or equivalent acceptable).

  • Experience managing automation projects and new site fit-outs is highly desirable.

  • Awareness of TUPE law and industry-related regulations is a plus.
