Project Manager

Description:

Severn Trent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Capital Design & Delivery (CDC) team within the Waste Infrastructure division. Based out of the Finham office, this role involves managing large-scale wastewater treatment projects, contributing to over 5,000 innovative and community-focused capital projects that tackle water infrastructure challenges and environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivering KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and wastewater construction projects

• Report directly to the Lead Project Manager

• Lead and manage project execution across design, engineering, and construction phases

• Oversee cost planning, budget control, and project scheduling

• Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements

• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Identify risks and anticipate challenges with a proactive approach

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree qualified or significant industry experience in capital project delivery

• Technical background in project and programme management, ideally in engineering or water infrastructure

• Experience managing NEC contracts preferred

• Proven success in budget management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership

• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
