Description:
Farrans Construction is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the internals package for a major build project in Leeds. The role involves leading the project from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and meeting budgetary and timeline goals.
You will be a key link between the client, stakeholders, and the project team, ensuring effective communication, operational planning, and mitigation of potential disruptions. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes.
Act as a primary liaison between the project team and client stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Identify and manage stakeholder interests, needs, and potential project impacts.
Present project updates, including 2-week and 4-week lookaheads, outlining operational impact and mitigation plans.
Manage stakeholder-related processes (CAR/OCSA) to keep works aligned with the project programme.
Collaborate with internal MEP teams to manage isolations and diversions as per protocol.
Attend client operational and programme review meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
Proactively identify stakeholder-related risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Resolve conflicts and address stakeholder concerns promptly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, designers, and supply chains.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Valid CSCS/CSR card.
Full UK manual driving licence.
First Aid at Work certification.
Ability to pass DBS checks, obtain airside passes, and fulfil additional pre-employment requirements (as per project location).
