Description:
The Project Manager will serve as the primary coordination point for a major client account focused on e-commerce and digital community platform development. This role ensures the Viaduct Generation team delivers on the client’s strategic goals by managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks across all technical and marketing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Scoping:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, and resource allocation for a multi-faceted program, including marketplace development and new user onboarding systems.
- Lead the planning and execution of major, high-stakes e-commerce launches (product drops), coordinating efforts between development, design, and marketing teams.
- Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the agency's internal teams (Developers, Product, CX) and the client’s product and marketing leadership.
- Drive efficient project workflow, running Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) for the dedicated development team.
- Financial & Risk Oversight:
- Track and manage project budgets, ensuring transparency and reporting on the allocation and effectiveness of marketing spend.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks (technical, timeline, or scope-related) to ensure predictable project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager managing e-commerce, digital platform, or large-scale agency client projects.
- Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and expertise in project management software (e.g., Asana, ClickUp).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and budgets for multi-phase digital product launches.
