If you’re looking for a hands-on leadership role where you can shape multiple engineering and product development projects, this Project Manager position offers a strong mix of autonomy, visibility, and strategic influence. You’ll oversee high-value programmes end to end, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.

Our client is a global technology manufacturer supplying advanced sensing and control solutions across automotive, industrial and consumer markets. With ongoing growth and a broad programme portfolio, they’re seeking a structured and confident project professional who can keep complex activities moving with clarity and stability.

Reporting to the Operations & Programmes Director, the Project Manager will coordinate a suite of projects across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams. You’ll manage planning, execution, progress tracking, documentation, and risk oversight, acting as the bridge between delivery teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include
 

  • Defining clear project scopes, milestones, and objectives alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • Building comprehensive project plans and ensuring effective resource allocation across multiple workstreams
  • Tracking progress, identifying risks, managing change control, and keeping delivery aligned to budget and timelines
  • Preparing and presenting updates, status reports, and technical documentation
  • Managing relationships across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customer-facing stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement by reviewing performance, adapting plans, and steering corrective actions when required
     

What You’ll Bring
 

  • Proven experience in programme or project management within fast-paced technical environments
  • Experience within automotive or aerospace industries specifically working with the development of electronic or semiconductor products
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator, able to present information clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project management tools
  • A collaborative mindset, strong integrity, and a proactive approach to delivery
