Job Purpose/Background
The GFDS EMEA Change Solutions team is part of Global Fund Distribution Services (GFDS) within BlackRock’s Business Operations Services division and has responsibility for defining, shaping, and delivering strategic change initiatives across the EMEA region.
The team partners closely with Transfer Agency Services (TAS) and Fund Distribution Operations (FDO) to drive the evolution of their operating models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with regulatory requirements and client expectations. This includes managing change related to product innovation, distribution, regulation and platform transformation, while supporting the development of robust oversight and servicing frameworks. The team plays a central role in enabling GFDS to deliver on its strategic priorities through coordinated, outcome-focused change execution, working across business, technology, and external partners.
GFDS is undergoing a multi-year transformation to modernise its operating model, enhance scalability, and support new product innovation and market expansion, with an increasing focus on digital platforms, automation, and emerging capabilities such as digital assets.
We are seeking a senior change leader to join the Change Solutions team, responsible for owning and delivering complex, high-impact transformation initiatives across TAS, FDO, and associated platform capabilities. The role combines end-to-end program and project ownership, operating model design, and delivery leadership, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes, risk reduction, and scalable solutions. This includes supporting growth in digital, data, and AI-enabled capabilities, as well as evolving digital asset infrastructure.
The individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy, partnering across business, technology, product, and external stakeholders to shape, structure, and execute complex changes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
We place a strong emphasis on empowering and developing our people, enhancing leadership and delivery capability, and broadening firm and industry knowledge. Projects and roles are assigned not only based on delivery needs but also aligned to individual development objectives and career progression. The team will embrace your skills, curiosity, and drive, while providing the opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic and high-impact environment.
