Description:
Included within the job role;
Managing your own portfolio of properties
Dealing promptly and courteously with all communications with landlords, tenants and contractors
Arranging regular maintenance
Making sure all of our properties are well maintained and kept to a good standard
Organising and carrying out routine inspections
Ensuring gas safeties are instructed and kept up to date
Ensuring electrical checks are instructed and kept up to date
Ensuring EPC’s are instructed and kept up to date
Adhering to the legal requirements within the property industry
Responding quickly to urgent maintenance issues and dealing with potential dangers in a timely manner
Agreeing new tenancies and negotiating tenancy renewals
Producing tenancy packs to include legal documentation and carrying out detailed inventories
Collecting rent, dealing with late payments and rental void periods
Processing end of tenancy check outs and liaising with utility companies where necessary
Maintaining business through good working relationships
Accompanying viewings with prospective tenants
Dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries
Taking advertising photographs
Progressing to new business
Key Requirements/attributes;
Proven track record in Lettings or the property industry would be preferred, but not essential
Have strong organisational and time management skills
Demonstrate good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Be able to work on your own initiative and work well as part of a team
Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Full clean driving license and own vehicle for use on travelling to appointments
You will be reporting into the Lettings Manager.
Salary to be discussed
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
One in three Saturdays 9am - 4pm
