The Opportunity Hub UK is partnering with a leading PR agency in Central London—just a short 10-minute walk from London Bridge—to recruit an experienced and ambitious PR Account Director. This agency is widely recognized for delivering innovative, results-driven PR campaigns across diverse sectors such as B2B, logistics, transport, technology, and fintech.
The role offers the perfect opportunity for a seasoned PR professional to take a step forward into a dynamic and collaborative environment where creativity, strategy, and impact intersect. You’ll lead a portfolio of high-profile accounts, guiding teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of PR campaigns that elevate brand visibility and reputation.
Client Strategy & Relationship Management:
Provide expert counsel to clients on strategic PR initiatives while building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Advise and support Account Managers, supervise junior staff, and ensure all team members deliver to high professional standards.
Campaign Development:
Design, implement, and oversee integrated PR campaigns tailored to B2B industries, leveraging both traditional and digital media channels.
Content Creation & Media Liaison:
Create compelling press releases, articles, and thought leadership content while managing relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Performance Reporting:
Monitor campaign success metrics, analyze PR coverage, and produce detailed reports to demonstrate ROI and effectiveness.
Strategic Growth:
Identify opportunities to expand client exposure beyond conventional PR formats, proposing creative ways to amplify brand messaging.
Crisis Management & Troubleshooting:
Take initiative in resolving client issues efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
5+ years of PR experience (ideally in B2B environments).
Strong strategic and creative thinking abilities to develop impactful communication strategies.
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, capable of delivering engaging and targeted content.
Advanced presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Commercial acumen and understanding of client industries, competitive landscapes, and communication needs.
Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking capabilities.
Proven experience managing client portfolios and mentoring junior staff.
Competitive salary of £55,000 – £60,000+ DOE
