Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to help power the next stage of growth. You’ll play a key role in managing the supply chain, driving procurement efficiency, and overseeing logistics for customers around the world. Whether you're experienced in both purchasing and logistics or have strengths in one area and are eager to grow into the other—we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities of the Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator:

 

  • Procurement Management: Raise and manage purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain supplier relationships to improve lead times and pricing.
  • ERP/MRP Utilisation: Use new MRPEasy system to streamline material purchasing.
  • Planning: Prepare weekly/monthly purchasing plans for the finance team.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate couriers and shipping logistics for global customer deliveries.
  • Customs Oversight: Manage import/export documentation and customs processes (training provided).
  • Chamber of Commerce Liaison: Handle Carnet documentation and work with local trade bodies (training provided).

 

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 

  • Experience in purchasing or logistics (or both!)
  • Knowledge of engineering components (mechanical, electrical, electronic) is a strong plus
  • ERP/MRP system experience (training available if needed)
  • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
