Python Developer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead with strong expertise in Python and AWS Cloud services to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will lead backend development efforts, contribute to architectural decisions, and work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Python and frameworks such as Django
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS
• Work with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, AppSync
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
• Ensure high-quality code through TDD, pair programming, and best engineering practices
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend frameworks (Django preferred)
• Solid experience with AWS Cloud services (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, AppSync)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Good understanding of software development best practices (TDD, CI/CD, pair programming)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
