Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Hearing Assessments: Perform detailed hearing tests using advanced diagnostic tools to assess clients’ hearing levels and determine suitable solutions.

• Dispense and Fit Hearing Aids: Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids tailored to each client’s individual hearing needs and preferences.

• Deliver Outstanding Customer Care: Provide compassionate, professional, and consistent service that enhances each client’s confidence and satisfaction.

• Provide Aftercare and Follow-Up Services: Offer post-fitting adjustments, advice, and ongoing support to ensure optimal hearing aid performance.

• Collaborate with Store Teams: Work closely with optical and audiology colleagues to deliver a seamless and holistic customer experience.

• Wax Removal (Preferred): Perform microsuction or manual wax removal where qualified; training support available for candidates interested in certification.

• Uphold Clinical Excellence: Maintain high standards of patient care, accuracy, and ethical practice in line with Specsavers’ quality protocols and HCPC guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

• Strong clinical knowledge of audiology practices, hearing assessment, and device fitting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• A professional, empathetic, and patient-centred approach.

• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development.

• Wax removal or microsuction qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).
