Quality Advisor

Description:

Mencap is hiring two Quality Advisors to join their national Quality Team supporting over 5,000 people across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This role involves assurance visits, reviewing complaints, compliments, mortality reviews, whistle-blowing, providing advice, and identifying learning opportunities to ensure high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assurance visits to direct service teams

• Review complaints, compliments, mortality reviews, and whistle-blow reports

• Provide guidance and advice to teams to improve service quality

• Identify and promote learning from reviews to enhance practices

• Support teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality experiences for people

Working Conditions:

• Mainly remote/home-based with travel across service areas

• Ability to stay away from home regularly for work purposes

• Manage own diary and deliver agreed workload within working hours

• No line management duties
