Quality Assurance Compliance Manager

PLATINUM CARE LIMITED operates 5 residential care homes based in England and Wales. We are committed to providing high quality residential care to our residents and are looking for dedicated Quality Assurance / Compliance Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our service quality ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards and supporting continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• The preparation of monthly Quality Assurance / Monthly Governance reports to include audit results, key data any lessons learnt and action plans.
• Maintain effectiveness and relevance of audits and ensure suitability to individual homes and reflects changes to CQC / other regulatory body requirements
• Work with local management teams to support completion of the audits, data collection and make and monitor improvements
• Take ownership of internal investigations (staff, safeguarding, health and safety) and make recommendations and implement lessons learnt.
• Take an lead role in all aspect of staff training.

This is a full time position but working hours can be flexible. Whilst this is primarily a HOME -based role, you will be required to do site visits to the care homes (at least once month) and may require over night stays depending on your location.

Ability to drive and having access to your own car is a necessity

We see the ideal candidate as someone who is a :

• self starter / motivator with strong attention to detail
• strong report writing skills and proficiency in the use of Word and Excel
• good communicator and a good team worker
• at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial position in the care sector, an ex CQC inspector or quality / compliance roles in a relevant organisation.
• good understanding of the CQC inspection framework coupled with strong care knowledge
• strong IT skills including the use of share point and proficiency in Word and Excel
• experience with HR relative issues is ideal but not essential
• ideally located in Somerset / North Devon
