Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Collaborate with trades teams, managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver cost-effective and high-quality repairs and maintenance.
🔧 Visit sites to measure and value work, negotiate costs, and ensure budgets stay on track.
🔧 Analyse contractor performance, manage relationships, and ensure commercial excellence.
🔧 Use work-order systems to maintain accurate scheduling and data.
🔧 Monitor monthly budgets, ensuring correct financial coding.
🔧 Act as a proactive commercial partner, ensuring customer needs remain central to all decisions.

What You’ll Bring:
✔ A formal Quantity Surveying qualification (or equivalent experience).
✔ Commercial awareness and understanding of procurement rules, housing repairs, and relevant legislation.
✔ Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
✔ Confidence to challenge and negotiate with contractors while maintaining positive relationships.
✔ A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage costs covered).
✔ Enthusiasm for learning and growing—especially with support to achieve RICS accreditation.
Working Pattern:
📅 Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.
📍 Hybrid model: Work 2 days per week from an office (Welwyn Garden City, London, Portsmouth, Newcastle, or Durham) and from home the rest of the week.
🚗 Occasional travel (average 1 day per month) to meet teams and stakeholders in the south region.
