Quantity Surveyor

Description:

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team in Norwich. This will be working on our new highways project, and flexibility is expected in locations around the South / East of the country.

What you’ll do:
 

• Manage Subcontractors dealing with certification of payment and change
• Manage allocated control accounts with site team including value draw and out-turn forecast / spend profiling
• Keep cost records and agreement of costs with National Highway Site Representatives
• Utilise site commercial and document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, Projectwise, Forecasting Tool)
• Procure packages as the work proceeds
• Provide and present contract, cost and forecasting data to the site team
   

What you’ll bring to the role:
 

• NEC Contract Knowledge
• Experience working within Infrastructure / Civils
• Previous experience of managing subcontractors and preliminaries
• Knowledge of commercial digital systems
• Good Communication Skills
