Quantity Surveyor

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Contract Surveyor to manage and procure the sub-contract packages, whilst gaining experience to take the next step in their career to a senior surveyor and becoming a key part of the Surveying teams for years to come.

You will be familiar with JCT and have experience in managing and procuring various trade sub-contract packages. You will be required to assist within the Main Contract Valuation and the Monthly Cost reports.
 

• Analysis of tender allowances
• The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
• Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
• Subcontract and Design Procurement
• Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
• Assisting with Cost Value Reconciliations
• Preparation of cost to complete
• Cash management and maximisation
• Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
• Provision of standard reports
• Assisting with Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines
   

About You:
 

• You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build; as well as sound knowledge of JCT Contract.
