Radio Test Engineer

Description:

Element has an opportunity for an Radio Test Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments ensuring timely and accurate test results under minimal supervision. You must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory and potentially across the Element enterprise
• Accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers inlcuding creation and sign off of test reports
• Able to oversee and guide problem solving of complicated technical challengesProvides input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customersAssists in the professional development of technicians and engineers within the local laboratory
• Support technical leadership to interpret and apply regulations to a variety of cutting-edge technologies

Skills / Qualifications

Essential skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Radio testing techniques
• In-depth knowledge of testing Consumer Products for global certification requirements
• Has also demonstrated the ability to develop technical knowledge in their chosen field
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety

Nice to have:

• Will have a minimum of 2 years’ pertinent post-degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualifications
• Knowledge of UKAS Accreditations and quality systems would be highly beneficial
