We now have a great opportunity for a Ramp Operations Manager to join our Ground Operations Team at Birmingham Airport.
Based at Birmingham Airport and reporting to the Station Manager, the Ramp Operations Manager is responsible for the overall safe and efficient running of the Ramp Operations at Birmingham Airport, providing effective leadership to ensure the Teams and suppliers exceed Jet2.com's standards for safety, a VIP customer service and cost management.
You will take accountability for Jet2.com’s 'On Time Performance' and deliver positive change and improvements across the operation. Through building and maintaining effective relationships with the airport authorities and third party contractors, you will drive a 'One Team' approach to ensure all services are provided in accordance with Jet2.com's Company procedures and in line with contractual agreements.
The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours and will have proven experience of developing high performance Teams. Experience within a Ramp Airside environment at a senior level is essential.
You will demonstrate the ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging operational situations, whilst making customer driven and commercially sound decisions. As an inspirational leader, committed to the development of others you will have experience of working within a coaching culture and you must share our passion for delivering the highest standards in customer service and safety. A valid full UK Driving Licence is also required.
