Description:
A successful Reception and Administration Assistant should have a welcoming and pleasant personality, with the ability to easily build rapport with people. They’ll be able to deal with urgent tasks in a timely and effective manner, and the ability to multitask is important for this position.
Key responsibilities
- Meeting, greeting, and interacting with visitors, tenants and contractors
- External and internal call and email handling including taking and passing on accurate
- messages
- Updating log-books and schedules
- Processing deliveries
- Ordering, organising and assisting with building events
- Populating data collection workbooks
- Ensuring that security to the building is maintained in line with guidance and standard
- operating procedures
- Carrying out the reception training for any cover team members and identifying ongoing
- training needs for the cover team, liaising with the Team Leader as needed
- Raising any concerns about process, practice or incidents as appropriate
- Actioning any reasonable task instructed by your line manager or property manager
Personal attributes
- Previous experience in reception and administration role
- A committed attitude and dedication to creating a memorable guest experience
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience using email and Microsoft packages
