Recovery Caseworker

Description:

One25 is a Bristol charity supporting women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence. We are seeking a Recovery Caseworker to join our specialist casework team to support women involved in street sex work through recovery from substance use, providing guidance for accessing treatment options such as scripting, detox, and rehabilitation. The role includes working closely with partner agencies and fellow caseworkers to achieve positive outcomes for women.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive one-to-one support to women in recovery from substance use.

• Support women accessing healthcare, legal, housing, and other relevant services.

• Participate in One25’s night outreach service and Health Hub initiatives.

• Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver holistic care.

• Contribute to a trauma-informed, person-centred approach in all interventions.

• Participate in monthly van outreach shifts (evenings) and occasional evening on-call rota.

Qualifications:

• Relevant social work, counselling, or casework experience (preferred).

• Ability to provide empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental support to women in crisis.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

• Female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010.

• Enhanced DBS disclosure required.

• Commitment to occasional evening and outreach shifts.

• Eligible to participate in the 4 Day Week pilot after probation (work 20% less for same salary).
