Rather Home Care Ltd specializes in non-medical home care services for older people, adults, younger adults, and children within their own homes. The company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Recruitment Officer to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis in Greater London. The role reports directly to the Registered Manager and wider management team.

The Recruitment Officer will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. Collaboration with management is essential to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and enhance staff retention. Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies throughout the recruitment process is mandatory.

Key responsibilities also include maintaining accurate recruitment documentation, managing pre-employment checks, and keeping up-to-date personnel records. The role involves promoting a positive employer brand, providing a professional candidate experience, monitoring recruitment metrics, and reporting to management regularly.

The Recruitment Officer will work closely with management to address staff-related issues, including recruitment, implementation of new employment policies, expertise in employment law, and liaising with professional bodies. The role includes delivery of training and staff development programs, with trainer’s training provided to the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in the care sector is not mandatory, as full training will be offered. Transferable customer service skills are essential.
