Regional Distribution Manager

Description:

Insight Select is hiring a Regional Distribution Manager to oversee and optimise logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations across multiple European sites. Based in South Darenth with a hybrid work arrangement, this position is ideal for a strategic and results-oriented leader ready to drive operational excellence across borders.

The role requires a professional capable of managing end-to-end supply chain operations, enhancing service levels, ensuring health and safety compliance, and driving automation and cost efficiency through data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across distribution, transport, and warehouse functions in Europe

• Lead initiatives for efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and service level enhancements

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all internal and third-party logistics

• Manage and negotiate with 3PL and transport providers, including contracts and performance tracking

• Support the integration of automation tools, data-driven systems, and continuous improvement projects

• Lead cross-functional and regional distribution integration projects

• Prepare business cases, manage budgets, and present reports to senior leadership

• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture aligned with company values

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)

• Proven leadership in a multi-national distribution or logistics environment

• Familiarity with modern logistics platforms, including WMS and ERP
