Regional Key Account Sales Manager

 

Description:

This full time hybrid role will require you to take full ownership of our retailer sales channel. You will be responsible for managing the commercial relationship between our retailer clients and the Montrose business, developing excellent relationships with existing and former clients. Your ability to foster trust and rapport will be the cornerstone of success, breathing new life into existing accounts and strengthening the bonds that fuel long-term revenue growth. You will develop an in-depth product knowledge enabling you to support our customers and their staff with a clear understanding of customers’ values, positioning and target consumers.

You will be tasked with consolidating and then nurturing the retailer sales channel with heavy involvement in customer feedback and future range developments, in order to maximise the channel performance.

 

Responsibilities;

 

· Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and effectively deliver the retailer marketing strategy.

· Assist with the development of sales collateral required to present the company product offers appropriately.

· Create regional sales plan and quotas in line with business objectives.

· Achieve agreed KPI’s to attain regional sales and company targets.

· Spearhead sales for the region consistent with regional sales plan to increase client spend.

· Develop relationships with existing and former clients, creating solid alliances to increase market share.

· Manage and constantly update client folders with real-time information on the internal server database/CRM system.

· Highlight additional services/products to increase customer spend and share of wallet.

· Offer effective sales support to our customers and be the initial point of contact for all retailers in the region, ensuring customer delight.

· Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for presentation and discussion with the directors.

· Feedback all appropriate information on retail, contract and ancillary group product opportunities to relevant stakeholders within the business.

 

The Candidate;

 

· Must have specific field sales and account management experience in the interiors market sector.

· Ideally from the KBB bathroom industry however open to other interior building product backgrounds.

· Commercially astute with a good understanding of R.O.I.

· Strong planning and presenting skills.

· Can do, will do go getter with roll sleeves up mentality.

· Hardworking tenacious attitude.

· Ability to achieve sales targets.

· Experience in analysis and achievement of Key Performance Indicators.

· Ability to develop result-oriented sales and customer support techniques.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Strong organisation and analytical skills.

· Exceptional customer service skills.

· Strong negotiation and sales skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

· Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.

· A keen eye on details for accuracy.

· Conversant with business social media channels.

· Good time management skills.

· Availability to travel as necessary, regular nights away will be required.
