Regional Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Manager to oversee the operations of our commercial cleaning company across various contracts in Liverpool. As a Regional Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our cleaning services, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving business growth. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of commercial cleaning contracts across Liverpool.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor service quality, implement improvement strategies, and address any customer concerns promptly.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to achieve optimal productivity and cost-efficiency.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of cleaning staff, supervisors, and site managers.
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and implement development plans.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach among the regional team.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing their needs.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings with clients to assess service quality and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and resolve any client issues in a timely manner.

4. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion and contract renewals within the region.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop proposals and participate in client presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar regional management role within the commercial cleaning industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and cleaning management software is desirable.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Liverpool region.
