Choices Homecare, a well-established and award-winning provider of homecare services across the North of England, is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead its domiciliary care service in South Yorkshire. With over 20 years of history and 12 thriving offices, Choices Homecare is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that supports individuals to maintain their independence and dignity within their own homes.

As a Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing the delivery of care services, ensuring that all operational, regulatory, and quality standards are met or exceeded. This is a key leadership role requiring someone who is motivated to inspire and develop teams while fostering strong relationships with service users, their families, commissioners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the service by delivering person-centred care that respects the independence, dignity, and choices of service users.

  • Develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing care team, ensuring that appropriate training, supervision, and support are provided.

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations to maintain service reliability and continuity.

  • Oversee compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders including commissioners and families to enhance service delivery and reputation.

  • Drive service development, seeking opportunities to expand and innovate the domiciliary care offerings.

  • Ensure that all operational and regulatory documentation, reporting, and quality standards are maintained meticulously.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within a health and social care setting.

  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and standards for domiciliary care.

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification).

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead diverse teams.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle, essential for managing homecare services effectively across the locality.
