Registered Manager

 

Description:

As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day running of the home, including safeguarding, staff leadership, quality assurance, placement planning, regulatory compliance, Ofsted readiness, partnership working and service development.

 

You will be expected to:

- Lead and inspire the staff team

- Embed the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

- Maintain strong safeguarding, risk and governance systems

- Ensure each young person's care plan is delivered effectively

- Prepare and maintain Ofsted-ready evidence

- Oversee supervision, training, induction, rotas and performance

- Work constructively with families, professionals, commissioners and stakeholders

- Drive continuous improvement, Regulation 45 reporting and effective response to Regulation 44 findings

 

About you

You will ideally have:

- Current or previous Ofsted Registered Manager experience in a children's residential home

- Strong knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SSCIF

- Experience with SEMH / EBD needs

- Evidence of achieving or contributing to Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, or equivalent / willingness to work towards

- At least 2 years' experience working with children within the last 5 years and at least 1 year at management level

- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

- Ability to be within commuting distance of Nuneaton
