About the Store and Leadership:

The Ophthalmic Director has been part of Specsavers since 1991, successfully running six practices over three decades and currently overseeing three Portsmouth stores — Waterlooville, Havant, and Farlington.

Working in this environment provides exposure to diverse and clinically interesting cases while offering access to mentorship from a seasoned professional. Specsavers Farlington strongly supports the professional development of its team, encouraging participation in WOPEC courses, enhanced optical services, and other specialized training programs tailored to each Optometrist’s career goals.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist

  • Strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

  • Excellent clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases
