Registered Veterinary Nurse

London Vet Specialists, part of the Linnaeus partnership, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their new multi-disciplinary referral centre in Hammersmith, opening Summer 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across a full range of specialist veterinary services without prior referral experience being necessary.

The Multi-Disciplinary RVN will collaborate closely with the Head of Nursing Services, Lead Nurses, Clinical Director, and clinicians to ensure the highest standard of patient care. The position involves rotating through all specialist disciplines, including orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, wards, and ICU. Specific clinical interests and passions of the RVN will be encouraged.

Key responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, assisting with consultations and procedures, monitoring sedation and anaesthesia, ensuring accurate record-keeping, managing equipment, coordinating stock with the pharmacy, communicating effectively with clients, and participating in hospital committees. The role also emphasizes adherence to cat- and dog-friendly standards in line with ISFM, Dogs Trust, and BVBA guidelines.
