Relief Support Worker

Creative Support, a leading non-profit social care organization, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Workers to join their team in Derby. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respectful personal care and assistance in line with individual support plans.

• Offer emotional and practical support, helping service users maintain independence and confidence.

• Promote social inclusion by encouraging participation in community and social activities.

• Build warm, trusting, and professional relationships with service users.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and coordinated support.

• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality standards.

• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, based on service needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care, support, or social work settings is essential.

• A compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach to care.

• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A valid UK work eligibility status (Creative Support cannot offer visa sponsorship).

• A driver’s licence is desirable but not mandatory.
